Its Mathematics

As many of you know I am a huge fan of Mathematics. It's something about how finite it is. It has a certain set of rules and doesn't deviate from them. Math is like a puzzle or a game. You tell me the rules submit the problem and I can work it how ever I want as long as i stay with in the rules. All I can say is this guy has mastered "the game". Make sure you watch all the way to the end.

And Just for fun here is Mos Def with his song "Mathematics" cause its badass.

Might be time to get a Ps3

With rumors swirling about a possible Price drop at the end of this year and this article about a copywright being filed that may grant the Ps3 backwards compatibility it may be time to get one. I had been holding off because I wasn't that interested in the games but if they add back in Ps2 compatibility and with M.A.G. and uncharted 2 coming out I think I will start saving up my money.

Wonderland

Anyone excited for Tim Burtons "Alice in wonderland" if so I got some pictures for you. I can tell you what I am not excited for, Seeing a houndred Mad Hatter Costumes at Halloween.

Samurai Champloo: The Complete Collection

I didn't even know this was coming out tomorrow until like 2 seconds ago. Samurai Champloo is seriously one of the best Animes ever. The Complete Series is only $54.99which considering that each of the 7 disks cost about $25 seperatly thats not a bad deal. i am picking this up for sure.
Samurai Champloo

I know what I am getting Peanut for Christmas

Street lights

Here is the video for Street Lights off of 808 and heartbreaks. This is one of my favorite songs off of that album. The video is pretty cool too.

Inglorious Bastards

I know this is kinda old but I didn't know if everyone had seen it. Inglorious Bastards is the new movie by Quentin Tarantino. Here is the trailer and I hope it is good.

Daybreakers

Hmmm, If nothing else it looks kinda interesting.

Living with First-Person Shooter Disease

OK so this was mildly entertaining until the end when I busted up laughing. Mainly this one is for peanut. Much like my heart...

Ouch!

I think I will pass on eating molten lead. Oddly enough this video reminds me of something Cody and Owen might do if they were both drunk.

Hopefully you can still read this. I had to shrink it down to make it fit.

worlds most intense alarm clock?

I am almost 100% sure this guy never gets laid but I have to say that this is pretty cool. I imagine if you didn't tell someone about it and they were sleeping in your bed they would probably shit themselfs when your alarm went off.

Top 25 games you must play before you die

Here is a list of the top 25 games you must play before you die. I was going through the list and it looks like I am doing pretty good. There are only 4 or 5 that I have never played. I'll have to pick those up so that I am prepared for death. check out how you are doing here:
List

K'naan

OK now I know that Peanut has posted about this already but K'naan is an amazing artist and he is coming to Boise tonight. If you haven't heard his stuff yet check out these two videos. He will be at the neurolux tonight so go check him out.

Clean Graffiti

The one thing i have always felt is that I don't think Graffiti artists set out with an inherent agenda to destroy things. I always saw graffiti (From most artists) as being a way to make the world a more beautiful place. This is a video of a man who takes that one step farther. He does graffiti not by spray painting walls but by cleaning them. Check it out:

This makes sense

Scientists have determined that part of the process of sleeping helps solidify short term memories into long term memories Here. Meaning the more you sleep the better your memories will be. This makes sense because my good friend J-rad has a memory filled with useless knowledge like a never ending cookie Jar that is filled to the brim with only white chocolate macadamia nut. He also sleeps more than an old dog on a warm afternoon. Some day when I write my biography I will Site him as reference of all the stories in my life. So Sleep away J-rad, we got things I need you to remember.

Ponyo

Here is the trailer for the next Miyazaki film. I'm a big fan of the way he creates these huge living breathing worlds and I am excited for this one too.

Cowboy Bebop

Speeking of move adaptations of Animes, I came across this interview with the guy who is writing the Cowboy Bebop movie script. Thats right I said "Cowboy bebop" movie. Now I don't want to jump to conclusions but I don't see how this could end well. In the interview the guy seems to know what he is talking about and I hope that this movie kicks ass cause I love the anime. However there is a high probability that this movie will end up like DBZ. check it out

The Pacific

OMG this could possably be the greatest day of my life. They have just released the trailer for "The Pacific" which is a follow up mini series to "Band of Brothers" one of my favorite shows of all time. If you have never seen Band of Brothers you need to do it now. That show is Amazing. Judging my the trailer The Pacific should be just as good if not better.

Saturday?

I'm not sure what everyone is doing this weekend but I have been meaning to get with Cody and watch some of the old Samurai movies he has. I was thinking it would be fun to hang out and watch yojimbo this weekend and have some beers. Anyone interested? Of course this is only if Cody is available.

Peanut at work??

I found this lost footage of peanut working at starbucks. This is from way back when he first started and was a little nervous.

1st nerd president!

Here is a clip of John Hodgman Talking about How Obama is the first nerd president. Its pretty funny and some what comforting. Check it out.

Qi Zhang

As most of you probably know "The Dedicated Servers" pride themselves on being fans of all good music. With that in mind I saw this video of Qi Zhang playing the organ and I have to say this is an incredible showcase of musical talent. To master something like this to that degree takes years and years of practice. I really enjoyed this and I think you will too.

Thank you

I want to give a big thank you to everyone who came out to support "The Dedicated Servers" last night. We had a lot of fun meeting everyone new and performing for you guys. We were able to give out all of our albums which is cool. I just wish I had more for you guys. Remember you can always download it here Warp Zone

And to those who were too "trendy" to come to the venue it is your loss. Imagine that, you are too good to come support your friends who are performing because you don't like the crowd. YOU ARE THE CROWD! you retard. Anyways Big thanks to Sam, Cody, Owen, Tom, J-rad, Ammo, Ybarra, Mark, Kyle, David's Sisters, Ron, Peter, Sarah, Tie, Lubi, Dani, Adam, Kate, Dru, Awebree and her friends, My Mom, My Dad, Eric, Wendy, Megan, Kelsie & everyone else who showed up to listen. 14-year-old hit by 30,000 mph space meteorite

This kid was hit by a meteorite in his hand. That is frickin amazing. He now has the best conversation opener that will last him a life time. Here is his story:

Gerrit Blank, 14, was on his way to school when he saw "ball of light" heading straight towards him from the sky.

A red hot, pea-sized piece of rock then hit his hand before bouncing off and causing a foot wide crater in the ground.

The teenager survived the strike, the chances of which are just 1 in a million - but with a nasty three-inch long scar on his hand.

He said: "At first I just saw a large ball of light, and then I suddenly felt a pain in my hand.

"Then a split second after that there was an enormous bang like a crash of thunder."

"The noise that came after the flash of light was so loud that my ears were ringing for hours afterwards.

"When it hit me it knocked me flying and then was still going fast enough to bury itself into the road," he explained.

Scientists are now studying the pea-sized meteorite which crashed to Earth in Essen, Germany.

"I am really keen on science and my teachers discovered that the fragment is really magnetic," said Gerrit.

Chemical tests on the rock have proved it had fallen from space.

Ansgar Kortem, director of Germany's Walter Hohmann Observatory, said: "It's a real meteorite, therefore it is very valuable to collectors and scientists.

"Most don't actually make it to ground level because they evaporate in the atmosphere. Of those that do get through, about six out of every seven of them land in water," he added.

The only other known example of a human being surviving a meteor strike happened in Alabama, USA, in November 1954 when a grapefruit-sized fragment crashed through the roof of a house, bounced off furniture and landed on a sleeping woman.

Oh princess leia. How I love you.

Peanut Vs Kyle

There is something about this video that reminds me of the time Peanut destroyed kyle with a flying knee to the chest. I think a little bit of Kyle died that day.

Brooklynati

So I saw this video for "So Damn Down" off of Tanya Morgans album "Brooklynati" and I have to say I really like it. I wasn't so sure about this album at first but now I think I want to get it. Summer project

I think I figured out what my summer project is going to be. Hopefully I can convince Cody to help me build theses. I promise i will use them for good

Wolverine

Really Nintendo?

Eco Structures

Here is some cool concept art for eco friendly structures. I wish we lived in a world with theses kinds of buildings

This Luxor-esque Pyramid Farm uses a heating and pressurization system to separate sewage into water and carbon which will fuel both the machinery and lighting. It would use only 10-percent of the water and 5-percent of the land needed by conventional farms.

The "Lilly Pad" concept is a floating "Ecopolis" that can accommodate up to 50,000 climate refugees.

This stackable skyscraper concept designed by Jorge Hernandez de la Garza is eco-Tetris for the ever-growing Mexico City. The Vertical Park has sky gardens, space for both public and private use, and it recycles all of its own water.

The Dragonfly is a 128-floor vertical farm concept that will definitely get locavores drooling. Conceived by Vincent Callebaut Architectures, the building supports housing, offices, laboratories and and twenty-eight different agricultural fields. It completely sustains itself using solar-power, wind-power, and captured rain water.

11

I know that they say you should weigh yourself too much when you are trying to lose weight but sense I started eating better and working out more I have lost 11 pounds. I figured 10 would be a milestone so I wanted to post it up here real quick. I recomend getting your eating under control for anyone who is a bit over weight. Sense I stopped eating out every day and not over eating I have felt so much better. Honest it is worth it. Ok enough sappy shit for the day.

Music Forever

We finished a new song the other day called "Music Forever". I think we are going to perform it at the show on June 20. Let me know if anyone needs tickets still (208) 577-7076. I am excited about this because it is the first strictly "Dedicated Servers" song we have done in a while. We have been working on all these mixtapes and haven't been really using the Beats that Peanut and Owen make. I am Excited to start working on some of the stuff they have made and getting back to the roots of how this group started.

It's Weird to think that we are coming up on 5 years in November that the "Dedicated Servers" have been together. I have to say even though things have changed a lot I am excited with the Direction we are going. We have a couple projects in the works right now and hopefully will be able to show you more as time goes. Stay tuned

Last Titanic survivor dies at age 97

Millvina Dean the last titanic survivor dies at age 97. She was found Drowned in the bathtub of her Southampton, England home...

No not really. She did die but in her sleep of natural causes. I was just thinking how Ironic it would be if she escaped the titanic all those years ago and ended up still drowning. I know, I am going to burn in Hell but I am ok with that as long as I can make someone laugh.

Iphone Lite

Kyle Asked me post about the Iphone lite well here it is. Actually more of an Ipod touch lite.

Check it

Microsoft

WoW!!! so I have to hand it to Microsoft cause they had some good stuff to show this year. I'm gonna run down just a few of them.

Left for Dead 2

For anyone who has played the first one you know you are excited. From the trailer it looks like we are in new Orleans and a greater emphasis on close range weapons. This includes a Chainsaw. You can't have a zombie game with out a chainsaw. Definitely picking this up. Check out the trailer.check it out

Final Fantasy XIII

They showed Final fantasy XIII running on the 360 today. It's good to know that Square Enix still has love for the 360 but I am on the fence for this one. I haven't really been into a final fantasy sense IX mainly because they take so long to beat but I might pick this one up. Maybe

Halo 3 ODST

Of course they showed some Halo ODST. I was sold on this game when i heard it comes with 3 mythic maps for Halo 3. Now they are saying you will get a chance to be in the "Halo Reach" Multiplayer beta if you purchase it. "Halo Reach" is a new game for 2010 that looks like a prequel. Sold

Metal Gear Risen

They anounced a Metal Gear game for the 360 based on Raidin. Cool, Wish they would of brought metal gear solid 4 over but this will work. I will most likely pick this up.

Crack down 2
Yeah it looks good

Splinter cell conviction also was shown which looks pretty cool and a whole bunch of Stuff with the new motion sensor camera. It looks cool but I wonder how much i would actually use it. The problem with motion controls is they are not precise enough for competative gaming. Oh well I will probably get it just to try Lion Heads new game "Milo". There aren't any pics of it up yet but it looks pretty emersive. I'll keep you posted of more updates.

UPDATE:
I forgot to Mention Alan Wake. This looks promising. Hopefully it is very scary. Check out the video

E3!!

E3 the Electronic Entertainment Expo starts today. I will be updating my blog with anything worth posting. So that may be nothing. Microsoft starts off their press conference today so I will be posting about the Xbox 360. On a side note I saw the day the earth stood still yesterday and it sucks balls. I wish I could have those 2 hours back but I never will. Save yourself the pain.
